I always keep a package of naan bread in my freezer for easy homemade pizza whenever I want it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are a few tricks to making naan pizza perfect every time <em>(including toasting the naan before adding toppings to make it extra crispy). <\/em>You don&rsquo;t need any sauce for this recipe &ndash; just a drizzle of olive oil and sprinkling of garlic powder before adding the tomatoes and cheese, as well as a drizzle of olive oil and sprinkling of salt and pepper after it comes out of the oven!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a wonderful end of summer recipe, when tomatoes are at their peak and fresh basil abounds. This will help toast it up before adding the toppings, ensuring a crispy crust. I distinctly remember studying abroad in the Naples region of Italy, picking up a pizza with fresh buffalo mozzarella and basil, and watching the cook drizzle olive oil and salt over the entire cooked pizza when it was done. AMAZING. The ingredients on this pizza aren&rsquo;t particularly salty, so adding more salt will enhance the flavor.
