You don&rsquo;t even need any oil, salt, or pepper! You literally just lay cubed watermelon on a platter, sprinkle with feta cheese and fresh mint, and serve. It actually seems a bit silly for me to even write a post for this recipe because it&rsquo;s so simple and easy. Barely a recipe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But here you are, everything you need to know about watermelon feta salad. You&rsquo;ll want to eat this every day in the spring and summer! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And what a great excuse to use some of the crazy amounts of mint I have growing right now. If you&rsquo;re interested in growing your own, here&rsquo;s a great <a href=\"https:\/\/gardenerspath.com\/plants\/herbs\/grow-mint\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">resource on growing fresh mint<\/a>!<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-ingredients-needed\">Ingredients Needed<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Cubed Watermelon<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Crumbled Feta Cheese<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Fresh chopped mint leaves<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-to-make-watermelon-feta-salad-with-mint\">How to make Watermelon Feta Salad with Mint<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>First, <strong>grab a platter. <\/strong>I do recommend a platter here so you can serve the salad in layers, rather than mixing in a bowl, which will make the feta and mint a bit soggy.<\/li><li><strong>Layer the ingredients on the platter, <\/strong>starting with the watermelon, then crumbled feta, then fresh mint. I do recommend crumbling the feta from a block yourself rather than buying pre-crumbled &ndash; it tastes better this way. The salt in the feta cheese draws the water out of the watermelon, which makes it soggy. Don&rsquo;t throw out leftovers &ndash; they&rsquo;re still pretty tasty! But this salad is definitely best eaten right away.<\/p> <\/div> <div class=\"schema-faq-section\" id=\"faq-question-1653317357161\"><strong class=\"schema-faq-question\">How do I pick out and cube a watermelon?<\/strong> <p class=\"schema-faq-answer\">There are lots of ways to cut a watermelon, and you can certainly buy it already cut up to save some time! But here&rsquo;s a great tutorial, and the method I use, for <a href=\"https:\/\/lilluna.com\/best-way-to-cut-a-watermelon\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">cubing a fresh watermelon<\/a>.<\/p> <\/div> <div class=\"schema-faq-section\" id=\"faq-question-1653317461278\"><strong class=\"schema-faq-question\">Can I use another kind of cheese or herb?<\/strong> <p class=\"schema-faq-answer\">Another salty crumbly cheese like queso fresco, cotija, or even blue cheese can be used here! I like mint with the feta, but cilantro also works.
