But you may not want to, as the texture will be tough and the flavor bitter <em>(like with butternut squash)<\/em>. That&rsquo;s why I recommend using only squash with skin that is delicate and soft after cooking &ndash; delicata squash fits the bill, as well as acorn and honeynut.<\/p> <\/div> <div class=\"schema-faq-section\" id=\"faq-question-1640008910907\"><strong class=\"schema-faq-question\">Are these good leftover, or can I make them in advance?<\/strong> <p class=\"schema-faq-answer\">This recipe is best fresh, especially if you leave the yolks runny.
