Hope you love it! I had to call my local butcher for lamb shoulder – they got it for the very next day. Might be worth a shot, but I think beef works so well as a lamb substitute, I do that all the time for Greek recipes too!

Reminds me of Dad’s Irish stew. I haven’t made Irish stew because lamb meat is not easy to find in our supermarkets. Now that you mention that beef can be substituted maybe I will try to make this one day soon.
